Join WinewomenPSP on the Piazza at Miramonte Resort and Spa in Indian Wells, Calif. for our first South African wine tasting safari on Thursday, Nov. 12 from 5:30 to 7:30 PM. Executive Chef Robert Nyerick will prepare appetizers paired to each wine: Cape Rock 2008 Sauvignon Blanc (herbed goat cheese crostini with heirloom tomatoes); Heron's Nest 2008 Chardonnay (pan-seared shrimp and salmon mousse brochette); Clos Malverne 2007 Reserve Pinotage (duck breast with raspberry/fig reduction); Wolverine Creek 2006 Cabernet Sauvignon (mini beef Wellingtons, Cabernet shallot reduction); and Cape Rock late harvest Gewurztraminer (mini pumpkin-spiced cheesecake, citrus fruit tarts).
