Norman Vineyards

Sunday, November 15th, 2009, 5:30 p.m.

Art and Lei Norman were looking for a place to realize their dream of growing grapes and making wine and found it in the beautiful hills west of Paso Robles in 1971.  After 20 years of grape growing, they decided to start their own winery.  The winery’s specialty has been elegant Cabernet and Meritage, bold Zinfandels and Chardonnays. Syrah joined the lineup in 2002. Today the wines come from their home vineyards plus other growers throughout the westside of Paso Robles and two other areas to round out the portfolio.  Steve Felton has been the winemaker for the past three years and will traveling in his busy harvest time to be with us to give us inside information about these vintages.  He will be presenting Norman’s wines with a menu specially selected by Chef Robin Nishizaki.
