Wine OR Wine & Food
It's not every day that a top-notch winemaker from Champagne puts down
roots in Virginia to make sparkling wine. But that's exactly what Claude
Thibaut did and the result is nothing short of spectacular. He and his
partner, Manual Janisson, both hail from the Champagne
region in France and have stellar winemaking credentials so it's no surprise
their sparkling wine is a hit with people who love the bubbly.
In addition to making wine they also import some fabulous wines from France
that offer style, finesse, and come in a wide range of prices designed to fit
most any budget. All of these wines should be on your list for Thanksgiving.
Here are the wines:
Thibaut-Janisson Blanc de Chardonnay NV
2006 Domaine Pinson Chablis Premier Cru Mont de Milieu
2007 Domaine Desperrier Moulin a Vents Cuvee des Breynets
2006 Domaine de Bel Air La Fosse aux Loups Chinon
