Whether you are a seasoned cook or deathly afraid of the kitchen, this adventure is for you.

Want to impress your next third date with a home cooked meal? Come learn the essentials of home cooking while also learning about healthy ways to impress your date. Cooking class will begin with a demonstration of the meal to be prepared and a short lecture about the ingredients. Class members will have a chance to chop a few ingredients to prep the items for the meal. As well they will have a chance to stir, taste and mingle while sipping on drinks from a cash bar.

Menu (subject to change, depending on market availability and seasonality)
- Early Spring Vegetable Soup
- Salad of fresh local lettuces and hudson valley cheese/nuts and dried fruit with citrus/honey dressing
- Seasonal main dish to be determined using the freshest local ingredients (most probably a lamb or turkey sausage) green and root vegetables with an apple cider glaze
- Grain side dish of quinoa or buckwheat
- Seasonal fruit dessert using local fresh fruits from the union square farmers market
