Foundation Certificate of the Wine and Spirits Education Trust - for anyone who is passionate about wine and wishes to broaden their knowledge. Wine styles, quality, pairing wine with food, wine service and much more,  covered in two 3 hour classes, on Wednesdays, November 11 and 18, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Tasting is part of both classes. At the end of the second class a review will be followed by a 45 minute multiple choice exam. Successful candidates receive the WSET Foundation Certificate.

The WSET, established in 1969, is the largest wine education organization in the world. Courses are offered in 45 countries, in 15 languages. International Wine Center is headquarters for the WSET in the United States. Four levels of wine education are available - Foundation, Intermediate Certificate, Advanced Certificate and Diploma. A six session Spirits Certificate is also offered. All Instructors hold the WSET Diploma and all textbooks and course materials are written exclusively for the WSET.
