Wine OR Wine & Food
Each month Mistress of Wine Joyce DeNeal chooses the topic and wines and Sous Chef Christine Cradock creates the menu. Together you get a three course food and wine pairing for an informal, interactive and educational event. With special guest speakers, blind tastings, and discounts on wine purchases, why wouldn't you join us?
When you are thinking about bringing wine to a dinner party or gathering, boxed wine is not the first type to cross your mind, right? Well, we are here to tell you its time to rethink your options.
And why not? Because of the packaging, production and transportation of the wine, it is a very green concept that winemakers could no longer ignore. The wine is vacuum sealed; allowing it to stay fresh for up to a month after opening, and the quantity is enough to serve large groups. So, winemakers have kicked up their efforts to make high quality wine – and not just in the United States. Canada and Europe has been doing it for quite awhile.
And now we want to reintroduce you to the world of boxed wine and how well it can pair with seasonal dishes. And who knows? By the time Thanksgiving rolls around and you have 20+ hungry people coming for dinner, you may decide to think outside the bottle this year.
