In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month, Cru~A Wine Bar has teamed up with Domaine Chandon to support Chandon for the Cure!. For the entire month of October, Cru and Domain Chandon are donating 50 cents to the National Breast Cancer Foundation for every glass of wine and wine flight purchased from our special Chandon for the Cure flight.

For the Grand Finale on the 31st, we are holding a special four course dinner with four exceptional wine pairings from Domain Chandon. A portion of the proceeds from the dinner will be donated to the National Breast Cancer Foundation. Established by French producer Moet & Chandon, Domaine Chandon is first California sparkling wine producer to be established by a French house using only the traditional chanpagne method. Chandon also produces spectacular still wines based on the traditional champagne grapes of Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier, and Chardonnay.

Wine is the inspiration for the food throughout this meal of fall flavors. Dinner starts with the Macadamia Crusted Blue Point Oysters with spinach and chanpagne hollandaise sauce, expertly paired with Chandon's Etoile Brut, followed by in season She-Crab Soup, paired with Domaine Chandon Chardonnay. The main course is a Braised Lamb Osso Bucco with a red wine balsamic, paired with Chandon's Pinot Meunier. For dessert, enjoy fresh Pavlovas with Lemon Curd, and Chandon's Riche Extra Dry.
