Carvao Grill invites you to a beer tasting dinner featuring The Bruery, a local small craft brewery that specializes in Belgian-style ales. Their calling is to create beers with character and depth usding the simplest and purest of means. They do not filter or pasteurize their beers. All of their bottled beers gain carbonation through 100% bottle conditioning, allowing carbonation to naturally occur through a secondary bottle fermentation. The Bruery strives to use unconventional ingredients and they proudly state what they put into their beers. Menu California Oriental Salad Orchid White - Belgian-style witbier. This hazy, straw yellow wheat ale is spiced with coriander, citrus peel and lavender added to the boil and whirlpool. A spicy, fruity yeast strain is used to add complexity, and rolled oats are added for a silky texture. 5.7% ABV
Lobster Broth Paella Saison Rue - Belgian/Fench-style farmhouse ale. This is a beer of sublety and complexity, with malted ryle, spicy, fruity yeast notes, biscuit-like malt backbone, and a slight citrus hop character. 8.5% ABV
Duck Confit Rugbrod - Julebryg-style strong brown ale. The inspiration for this beer was taken from the traditional Dannish dark, whole-grain rye bread. Instead of the caraway flavor in American-style rye bread, the Danes allow the spicy, slightly character of the rye to shine through. The same is done with this robust ale, adding bready, nutty malts with a hint to complement. 8% ABV
Chocolate Toffee Coffee Bar with Almond Winter Seasonal/Two Turtle Doves - The new release in Bruery's Twelve Beers of Christmas collection. A Belgian-style dark ale brewed wth cocoa nibs and toasted pecans. 12% ABV |
