It’s “Chic to Shriek” at Bell Tower Shops

Adults party on Oct. 30 and children on Oct. 31

The most ghoulish Halloween party for grown-ups, Chic to Shriek, will be at Bell Tower Shops. On Friday, Oct. 30, shoppers will be terrorized with live music and freaked out with fabulous food and spooky drinks.

The bewitching begins at 7 p.m. when Deb & the Dynamics will thrill the crowds in the courtyard outside Saks Fifth Avenue with their rock and blues sounds. Register from 7 to 9 p.m. for the costume contest which will begin at 9 p.m. on the black catwalk in the Bistro 41 courtyard.

Special tricks and treats available throughout the shops will feature a psychic reader at Touch Spa & Salon and contests and games at Talbots, The Cheshire Cat Fine Toys and The Mole Hole. Treats will include devilish desserts and virgin Bloody Marys at Key West Boutique, a fall harvest celebration with hot cider and a surprise discount at Trader Rick’s, plus caricatures at T.G.I. Friday’s.

The restaurant Mall Crawl begins at 9 p.m. featuring special treats and spooky drinks including Frankenstein wine at Bacchus, Jay’s freak juice at Bistro 41, blood orange margaritas at Blue Pointe Oyster Bar & Seafood Grill, smutty pumpkin at Crü and bloody vampire at T.G.I. Friday’s.

On Saturday, Oct. 31 from 5 to 7 p.m., children are invited to an evening of trick-or-treating fun, scouring the shops to fill their bags with Halloween candy.

Bell Tower Shops is an open-air lifestyle center, located at U.S. 41 and Daniels Parkway, with 40 retailers, including Saks Fifth Avenue and The Fresh Market, nine restaurants and Bell Tower 20 Regal Cinemas. The center’s sidewalk garden setting of lush landscaping, splashing fountains and covered walkways makes it a popular gathering place. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the center.
