“Getting Ready for the Holidays” wine tasting

The Prairie Circle Unitarian Universalist Congregation is hosting a wine and food tasting fundraiser at Wine Knows, a local family owned and operated store that deals primarily with family owned wineries and distributors.  Come join the fun.

• Sample a full menu of wines at all prices  
• Inspiration Vineyards and Winery from Sonoma California
• American, French, and Italian wines
• Beer 
• Sample complimentary food pairings provided by two professional chefs
• Menu includes:  Antipasto Platter, Stuffed Mushrooms, Roasted Vegetable Focaccia, Turkey Satay, Tofu Satay, Ham Satay, Indian Spiced Lamb Meatballs, Risotto Cakes, Spanakopita (Greek spinach and Feta Pie), Sweet Potato Bruschetta, Pear Bruschetta, Cranberry Bruschetta, Pear, Apple, and Chocolate Tarts, Wine Cupcakes, Savory Mixed Nuts (Menu subject to change prior to event)
• Receive a tasting book featuring a wine menu, food pairings, and recipes so you can recreate your experience at home during the holidays
• Get your holiday celebration wine and hostess gifts
• Enter to win the free wine raffle
• Raise money for charity

A canned food collection will be taken at the door. A portion of all proceeds will be donated to Avon Food Pantry and PADS Crisis Services (Homeless shelter).
