The MidAtlantic Cardiovascular Foundation will host it’s 5th Annual Wine Tasting and Silent Auction Fundraiser on Saturday, November 7, 2009 from 2:00-5:00 p.m. The event, to be held at Linwood’s Restaurant, will include samplings of fine wines by Wine Docs, a silent auction, music and mingling. Silent auction items include gift cards to local restaurants, jewelry, sports memorabilia and much more. All proceeds from the event will benefit the MidAtlantic Cardiovascular Foundation, whose mission is to promote advances in the treatment of cardiovascular disease. Foundation programs include a Pharmacy Assistance Program for uninsured or under-insured patients, physician/healthcare provider education, community health screenings and seminars, nursing scholarships and AED donations, to name a few. |
