We know it's still a few weeks until the big T-day, but it's never too early to start auditioning the wine selections. You will love the two tasty wines brought up from Kiwiland - a delicate Sauvignon Blanc and a lush earthy Pinot Noir. Pinot Noir is a great match for almost anything you might find on a traditional Thanksgiving table. The real special guest of the weekend is a sparking Shiraz from the Aussies. This is the down under sparkler of choice during their Turkey Day and once you taste it you'll know why. It's fantastic! Features free tastings of:
Gravitas Sauvignon Blanc, New Zealand
Exuberant aromas of gooseberry, grapefruit, hints of pineapple and dried herbs
complimented by rich, ripe flavors, impressive weight and excellent length. Gravitas Pinot Noir, New Zealand Intense
ripe fruit and spice flavors underpinned by soft tannins have created a
wine of impeccable balance, length and complexity.
Princess Royal Station Sparkling Shiraz
Fresh red cherry and berry fruits, with hints of chocolate, spicy pepper on the nose. Sweetness from the dosage balances the natural texture and structure of the shiraz fruit. |
