Napa Holiday Tour featuring B&B's, Wine, Food and entertainment

The 5th Annual Napa Holiday Event to benefit Napa charities.
The Napa Bed & Breakfast Inns (NBBI) will host their annual Holiday B&B Tour and Taste Event on Saturday, December 5, 2009 (2:00 to 6:00 pm) in Napa, CA. Inn tours will feature holiday decorations and festive entertainment, as well as food and wine pairings from Napa‘s premiere chefs and winemakers. Buses and shuttles will provide complimentary transportation between inns. Local limousine companies will also be available to shuttle tour guests for an extra charge.
B&B owners and innkeepers will be available for tours and questions. Featured inns include: The Arbor Guest House, The Beazley House, The Candlelight Inn, Cedar Gables Inn, Churchill Manor, Hennessey House, Hillview Country Inn, The Inn on First, Inn on Randolph, McClelland-Priest B&B Inn, Napa Inn, and the Old World Inn. Meet winery owners, winemakers, and hospitality staff in an intimate B&B setting.
Tickets are $55 per person ($45 special pricing available to limited number of guests who purchase in advance) and include food, wine, with access to all B&B tours. Tickets may be purchased at www.NapaHolidayTour.com. Based on past years, organizers expect the event will sell out in advance. Portions of the proceeds will benefit local Napa charities, as yet not identified by NBBI.
Platypus Tours, Beau Wine Tours, and Evans Transportation will provide shuttles and buses between groups of Inns.
Featured wineries to date include: AhnfeldtWines, Artesa, Baldacci, Robert Biale, Bouchaine, Baldacci, Caymus, Dutch Henry, Folio, Frank Family, Jessup Cellars, Madonna Estates, Miner Family, Mumm Napa Valley, Peju Province, Reynolds Family, Rombauer Vineyards, Van Der Heyden, and V Sattui.
Industry professionals will be on hand at the B&Bs to answer questions and discuss food/wine pairing. In the past, the following local restaurants have included: Anette’s Chocolates, Angele, Bayleaf, Cole’s Chop House, Downtown Joe’s, Elements, English Garden Tea Room, Fillipi’s Italian Restaurant, Go Fish, La Toque, Massage to Go, Pearl, Piccolino‘s, Ristorante Allegria, UVA Trattoria, Zins Valley, as well as culinary tastes from some of Napa’s finest B&B chefs.
Live entertainment and events will be featured at the inns, past artists include Johnny Smith, Tarrabini‘s Jazz Quintet, classical guitar, a cooking demo by Annie Baker, holiday carols sung by the Napa High Choral Quartet, Pianist/Singer Rick Esser, and the Annual Gingerbread House Extravaganza.
