from 10:30 AM - 4:00 PM
Gilroy, CA
Cost: 65.00 tour + $20 lunch = $85 pp
Event ID #276925
Your Gilroy wine tour begins with a visit to the beautiful Clos LaChance Winery in San Martin for a premium VIP wine tasting and a delicious gourmet picnic lunch, with beautiful views of hillsides and the Cordevalle Golf Resort’s golf course. You’ll also tour the state-of-the-art winery facility (wear flat shoes) and see how Clos LaChance makes their award-winning wine.
After lunch, we’ll stop in at Solis Winery and try their award-winning Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah, and a variety of other wonderful wines – they even make a rosé wine from Syrah grapes! The view from the Tasting Room is beautiful - looking out toward the mountains over acres of Sangiovese vineyards. Finally, we finish the tour with a visit to rustic Kirigin Cellars where we’ll take a brief tour of this designated historic facility and try some of their newest wines.
Throughout the tour, a professional tour guide from South Bay Wine Tours will accompany the group - filling you in on the winemakers and the wines, and the local area's agricultural history and interesting highlights. Join us for a wonderful day in the local wine country!
