Dear Lento Enthusiast,

We’ve had another great summer at Lento, savoring every morsel of fresh fruits and vegetables from our local farms.  But as delicious as the past few months have been, it’s all been a prelude to right now: harvest.  With late summer’s produce still in abundance, and the first winter crops starting to arrive, there’s no better time of year to eat local.

So to celebrate this year’s harvest, we’re offering a family-style tasting dinner, with a special invitation to our friends at the Brighton Farmers’ Market and other local farmers’ markets this year.  At the harvest dinner, you will be seated together with other diners at a single large table.  We’ll pass platters of exquisitely prepared seasonal fare and plenty of perfectly-paired wine.  It’s the perfect way to experience the full bounty of our area’s farms and share it with good friends, old and new.

Lento’s harvest dinner will be held Wednesday, October 28th, with set seating times at 6, 6:30, 7, 7:30, and 8.  The price is $50, not including tax or tip.  Because of the unique seating arrangement of the harvest dinner, space is extremely limited so reservations are required.

Starter:

Lento Fall Salad with spinach, pears, candied walnuts and sherry vinaigrette

Main Course:

Roasted turkey with apple chestnut gravy

Sweet and sour purple cabbage

Maple glazed carrots and turnips

Brussels sprouts with bacon

Dessert:

Apple pie à la mode

All served family style

Wine inclusive and free pouring
