Ten years is a long time for most wines. Ten years is a long time for most businesses in New York as well. This month Italian Wine Merchants marks its tenth anniversary and we're celebrating in several ways. On Saturday, October 17th, we're offering an exlusive tasting of eight great wines from the 1999 vintage. They include such legendary names as Talenti Brunello, Massolino Barolo, Fontodi Flaccinello and more. They are wines that have gone the distance--that gained in complexity and beauty over the years. (Frankly, we only hope we've aged as gracefully.) Come taste--and celebrate--with us at an intimate sit-down affair, accompanied by specially selected regional cheeses.
