Get ready wine world, because here comes craft beers and ales that are literally as good as wine, and sometimes better. The flavors, the fruit, the complexity, the finish -- everything we look for in a really good wine is there in a lot of these well-made craft beers. Best of all, with Thanksgiving coming, these craft beers are the perfect match with turkey, and they are profoundly interesting from the beginning of the meal through dessert. Join our "Man for Ale Seasons" Erik Deitz -- head of BeerHousing at BLM Wine + Spirits next door to the Wine School -- for an interactive tasting tour of the whole range of wine, from lightest Pilsner to darkest Stout. You'll taste and understand the difference between malt and hops and be better able to describe what you like and why. Bread, cheese, olives, antipasto served during class. |
