Wine OR Wine & Food

Learn about wine in a fun atmosphere; bring a friend, or make it a date night! You’ll learn to describe and evaluate wine, following the steps that professionals use. After this class, you’ll have a better understanding of what you like and why, helping you to make better buying decisions when dining out or enjoying wine at home. This class includes tasting 10 wines. There will be a “meet-and-greet” from 630pm-700pm (right before the class) where you can enjoy a glass of wine and light hors d’oeuvres, while meeting the other participants.

This class is limited to 20 participants.  To register please visit the link below.  We hope to see you there!

About the Essential Wine Experience…

This class is the first class offered as part of The Essential Wine Experience, the first step in Wine Palate’s educational offering. In the Essential Wine Experience classes, you will learn and apply practical skills such as: how to taste, evaluate, and describe wines; determine your wine preferences; and pair wines with food. There are four classes. In the first you will learn how to taste, describe, and evaluate wine. The second class focuses on the major white grapes, the third class focuses on the major red grapes, and the fourth class is a food and wine pairing workshop. Each class includes tasting of at least 8 wines and will be an in-depth discussion about your preferences, building your taste-memory and giving you more power to identify and choose wines you enjoy.

Class sizes are limited to 20 participants in order to promote group interaction and increase learning potential. The Essential Wine Experience is a comprehensive introduction to wine.
