In 1999, they planted a small Chardonnay vineyard on a ridge top property in the foothills of the Santa Cruz Mountains, high above the town of Los Gatos. That experience inspired them to go to the next level and launch a winery. Now they continue to farm and harvest estate wines, made in the historic Novitiate Winery close by in the Los Gatos hills.
