“Remember gentlemen,
it's not just France we are
fighting for, it's Champagne!”
- Winston Churchill
Champagne is probably the most captivating and enchanting wine in the world. Though sparkling wine is produced in many countries, none have the prestige or depth of flavor of those from the Champagne region of France. Difficult and time consuming to produce, we will explore how the complex techniques of grape blending, remuage, degorgement and dosage combined with the distinctive chalky Champagne soil give each bottle its unique character. We will taste and compare all styles including non-vintage, blanc de blanc, rose, grower producers and of course some great bottles of vintage bubbly. WEBSITE: LeDuWines.com |
