Local Wine Events

Cityscape Bar, located on the 15th floor of the Holiday Inn Chicago Mart Plaza, will host their first “Vino with a View” monthly wine tasting series this October. Guests are invited to sip and swirl an array of wines while enjoying stunning panoramic views of downtown’s River North. All attendees of “Vino with a View” will receive a 20% discount off dinner in Italiasia Restaurant after the event. In addition, they can enter to win an Italiasia “Tasting Room with a View Party” for 8 people which includes a five-course tasting menu paired with specialty wines. 

Featuring wines from Terlato, the event will highlight several varietals including: Il Poggione Brunello, Mazzoni – Super Tuscan (sangiovese/merlot blend), Rutherford Hill Merlot, Tamari Torrontes and Sanford Chardonnay.   

Patrons can indulge in an array of small bites including: Artichoke Drumsticks, Hoisin Duck Tamales, Antipasto Platter and Mini Kobe Burgers. 

WHEN:             Thursday, October 15 from 6:00 PM-8:00 PM.

After the tasting, guests can use their 20% discount to dine at Italiasia Restaurant located adjacent to Cityscape Bar where they will discover a creative fusion restaurant with a menu offering a kaleidoscope of flavors from Italy and Pan Asia that creates a taste sensation of East meets West.
