The 12th Annual James Beard Chef Invitational, featuring America’s top award-winning chefs, will be held 6:30 pm, Wednesday, November 4, 2009 at the
beautiful Pleasantdale Chateau in West Orange, NJ. This outstanding culinary showcase, featuring Award winning chefs from throughout America, features a spectacular 5-course dinner. Premier international wines will be paired with each course. The event will benefit the James Beard Foundation, New York.
The participating chefs are: Mike Lata, Fig, Charleston, SC (2009 James Beard Award Winner); R.J. Cooper, III, Vidalia, Washington, D.C. (2007 James Beard Award Winner); Marc Aumont, The Modern, New York, NY; and Robert Albers, Pleasantdale Chateau, West Orange, NJ (Host Chef).
The New Jersey chefs preparing the reception stations are: Andre’ de Waal, Andre’s Restaurant and Wine Boutique; and Robert Sickles, Sickles Market. Double Cross Vodka will provide cocktails.
