Get ready for a holiday shopping trail where you can hear live music while you shop or you can also spend time on the Serengeti Plains feeding exotic animals right from your hand. Guests can duck in and out of thatch pavilions and taste some of the best cuisine in all the Hill Country as paired with fantastic wines from Under the Equator. (Each adult day pass includes 5 food and wine pairings and you can choose from wines from Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Chile and Argentina.) Margaritas, winearitas, and specialty beers are also available at the Tiki Lounge, where guys can watch football on the giant big screen while ladies shop at the Palapa pavilions filled with unique gifts and wonderful Christmas items. Friday night at 7 p.m. guests can hear country music sensation, Collin Raye, live as he takes to the stage to perform his #1 hits and new releases. The concert's profits will all benefit The Bexar County Family Justice Center and the Kendall County Women's Shelter. On Saturday, November 28th, 2009, the fun continues with more wine, food, music, animal viewing and shopping from 11a.m. to 6p.m. The Saturday night grand finale is The Safari Base Camp Dinner Experience at 7p.m. The ticket is $50.00 per person and includes The Serengeti’s famous South African Braai, a dining experience like no other in Texas. It is a smorgasbord banquet of suckling pig, grilled meats and veggies with sides of homemade breads and desserts all prepared with South African flair.
