In my mind the greatest import from South Africa is the one and only Dave Matthews, but apparently they make some pretty killer juice there as well. The region is probably most known for Steen aka Chenin Blanc, but the region has also received high acclaim for its Syrah and Cab. Whether it is big, bold reds you like or crisp, bright whites, South Africa has it all. Those of you around last month remember the craziness that was "Palladius", a delicious rich, full-bodied blend of Chenin Blanc, Chardonnay, Viognier, and Grenache Blanc, come check out what else South Africa has to offer.
