Catena Seminar Crush Hour – October 30, 2009
Join the Wine Shop for a special seated seminar styled Crush Hour featuring the wines of Nicolas Catena. Named Decanter Magazine’s prestigious “Man of the Year” in April 2009, Nicolas Catena shares this honor with Christian Moueix of Petrus, Ernst Loosen of Dr. Loosen and Paul Draper of Ridge to name a few.
Nicolas Catena is credited with putting Argentina on the wine map. Special guest Alfredo Bartholomaus (Catena Brand Ambassador) will be here to present the wines in a classroom styled tasting. Wines will include three from the Classic Series (Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon and Malbec); three from the Alta Series (Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon and Malbec) and two very special and limited wines: 2006 Catena Zapata Adrianna Vineyards Malbec and the 2006 Nicolas Catena Zapata Cabernet Sauvignon (97 points Robert Parker)!
