Join Culinary Connections and Cook Street School of Fine Cooking on Saturday October 10th for a tour to 2 of Denver's best gourmet and specialty shops. This tour is more than walking into a specialty shop and looking around. The majority of the time will be spent in the stores sampling specialty items and learning about the newest culinary trends (i.e. how many different salts do you use?). You'll learn what makes great cheese, chocolates, different cuts of meat and how to properly prepare them from the owners and chefs themselves, an experience arranged especially for you.

After the tour we will head back to Cook Street for a cooking lesson on how to put together a gourmet meal in an hour.
