Four-course dinner with wine pairings featuring a menu with fall garden vegetables as the centerpiece. The soup course is a Creamless Butternut Bisque paired with 2008 Duck Pond Pinot Gris (Willamette Valley). An appetizer course features a salad of maple and ginger glazed golden and purple beets layered with goat cheese and topped with toasted spiced pumpkin seeds, paired with a 2008 Urban Reisling (Mosel). The entree is White Pumpkin and Ricotta Lasagna layered with spinach, pasta, mozsarella, smoked Gouda, and a garlic fennel bechamel, paired with a 2007 Terre des Papes Cote du Rhone. The dessert will be an Ice Cream Sandwich made with spicy oatmeal raisin cookies finished with a chunky apple caramel sauce. This will be accompanied by Hot Apple Cider laced with Sortilege (a liqueur made from Canadian Whiskey and Canadian Maple Syrup.
