Omaka Springs Estate Winery
Marlborough, New Zealand’s Premier Wine Region is situated at the northern end of the South Island. The region, now world famous for its production of Sauvignon Blanc and other cool climate varieties is characterised by its well drained stony soils and long dry growing season with warm sunny days and cool nights.
Omaka Springs Estates is a family business owned by Geoff and Robina Jensen. Our vineyards consist of 178 acres that lie across the Omaka Valley in the heart of Marlborough’s wine growing area. The first vines were planted in 1989 and further developed when Omaka Springs Estates were established in 1992. Our winemaker Ian Marchant has been with Omaka Springs since 1997.
The thing I love about these wines is they are so different in flavor profile. The Sauvignon Blanc has that nice crips acidity and grapfruit, slate flavor typical of New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc with a little hint of tropical fruits. But the Pinot Gris has extreme tropical flavors of mango and papaya and and incredible back palate of spiced pears. LOVE IT!! That is just to give you a climps and get your mouth watering. Not to mention the incredible prices!!
Call today for your reservation and we look forward to seeing you there and hearing what you get out of each wine.
$18 per person not including tax and gratuity per person and includes a small cheese plate.
