Experience an expert-led introduction to the wines of the Southern Cone, comprised of Chile, Argentina and Uruguay. Discover the passion of this region's winemakers. Learn to appreciate the special confluence of soil, place, climate and man's imprint on wine, food and culture.
This program includes a presentation on South America's premiere wines in a tasting and discussion of terroir, wine culture and upcoming trends in Chile, Argentina and Uruguay by Liz Caskey of Liz Caskey Culinary & Wine Experiences in Santiago, Chile. A three-course dinner follows discussion with wine accompaniment. The following South American producers will be represented:
