There’s nothing better than the perfect paring between exquisite food and fine wines. Join Meet Market Adventures and other wine and food enthusiasts as we spend an evening in a private dining room at Tagine, known for its gourmet menu and eccentric décor, enjoying a selection of food and wine parings.
We will open the pallette with a rose wine paired with red lentil tapenade and homemade semolina bread. Then we will enjoy delightful white wines which bring out the delicate flavor of Tangine's maaquda potato croquettes served with a aioli dipping sauce. Then Tangine will introduce a delightful red wine, with a little bite, the richness of this Spanish red accents the borek, lightly spiced and wrapped in phyllo pastry. Alas, we will be introduced to a bold distinctive red from Southeastern Algeria or Gerrouane Rouge from Moroccco, high tannic properties and lasting silky fig undertones, compliments the final dish our chicken tagine with preserved lemons and olives.
A Sommelier will introduce and guide us through the intricacies of tasting and paring. There will also be live Belly and/or Flamenco Dancing entertainment for our enjoyment.
