Come on, folks. How can you go wrong with coming to this one where we have wine and chocolate. Is there anything better to do than that?
Yes there is something better than that – the wonderful world of Dessert Wines. For reasons I am totally unsure about, this exquisite category of wines is largely either misunderstood or largely unexplored here in the USA. So come try and learn about those Dessert Wines that Europeans have known about for years.
Dessert Wines are a wonderful accompaniment to your Dessert. Or they can BE your Dessert. There are Sauternes, Ice Wines, Late Harvest Wines. They come from France, Australia, here in the USA, Canada, Italy, Portugal Germany. Heck – they come from all over the world.
So come learn and try an array of wonderful Dessert Wines, And the Perfect wine with Chocolate !!
Format is an informal classroom setting with Pete Hanowich leading the tasting and discussions. Dress is Casual.
Wines, Cheese, Sweets and baguettes included. WEBSITE: Pittsburgh Wine Festival |
