Come join us for a wonderful, 5-course, gourmet Italian dinner and wine pairing.
Antipasto
Antipasto means “before the meal” and is the traditional first course of a formal Italian meal. Enjoy this nice variety of cured meats, cheeses and marinated vegetables from the ‘old country’.
Paired with an Italian Spritzer
Italian wedding soup
This is a favorite soup of many American Italians. A light chicken based broth brings together Endive greens and delicate flavored tiny meatballs in a perfect marriage of flavors.
Paired with Pinot Grigio
Fettuccini Alfredo
A classic Italian dish made with fresh cream, butter and Parmigiano Reggiano cheese. We use bowtie noodles instead of the fettuccini as they tend to capture more of the wonderful Alfredo sauce.
Paired with Piesporter
Chicken Marsala
Sliced chicken breast pounded thin, lightly coated in flour and then sautéed in butter before being drizzled with our fine Marsala and mushroom sauce. This dish is nicely complemented with fresh broccoli sautéed in olive oil and garlic.
Paired with Chianti
Bianco Mangiare
This desert recipe came from the Catania region in Sicily, brought to the U.S. by my grandmother many years ago. It’s a simple milk pudding, lightly flavored with cinnamon and poured over a base of yellow Lady Fingers with bits of chocolate to tantalize the taste buds.
Paired with Riesling
