Winemaker Challenge is an international wine competition open to all commercially produced wine from anywhere in the world. The judges will all be professional wine makers. A full list of the winemaker-judges, as well as entry forms, rules, dates and other information can be found on the website, WinemakerChallenge.com. Entry fee is $65 for each wine entered, or $75 after the early-bird deadline. Winemaker Challenge International Wine Competition is the third in a series created Robert Whitley, nationally syndicated wine writer and publisher of WineReviewOnline.com. It follows his Critics Challenge and Sommelier Challenge wine competitions. In addition to those he directs, Robert has judged in wine competitions around the world. The goal of the Challenge series of wine competitions is to give the best possible assessment of the wines entered by having them judged by professionals in their fields -- Wine Writers, Sommeliers and Wine Makers. Robert Whitley is also director of the Monterey International Wine Competition and San Diego International Wine Competition. The SDIWC benefits the Wine & Roses Charity Wine Tasting and Sale in June.
