A Taste of Scotland: A Special Food and Wine Feature hosted by Master of Wine, Rose Murray Brown. Sample a selection of speciality Scottish foods (smoked salmon, smoked trout pate, venison carpaccio, Strathdon & Anster cheeses, pastries and chocolates) matched to a range of wines from around the world chosen by Rose. Rose will be joined by venison expert Nichola Fletcher, cheese expert Jane Stewart and chocolate expert Sandy Milne. Guests will be welcomed with a taste of Champagne Joseph Perrier Brut NV as aperitif in the ballroom foyer. The food and wine tasting will be seated. Tables of 10 are available at £175 or individual places at £20 per person. This unique food and wine matching event will take place in luxurious surroundings of The Ballroom in the prestigious 5 star Old Course Hotel. It will be part of the St Andrews Festival celebrations which take place 28-30 November to celebrate Homecoming Scotland 2009 Finale and St Andrews Day www.standrewsfestival.co.uk.
