In this course, we get to pick and choose the most exciting wine regions of the world. One region at the top of many lists is Napa Valley.  

            This is an in-depth exploration of what is unique about Napa and what it is about this region that has long captured the imagination and palates of the wine world?

            You will learn the basic outlines of Napa Valley– its climate, geology and grape varieties. In addition, we will cover the important events and people that shaped its history.  Most important, you will taste the outstanding wines of the regions.  With maps, descriptions, and tables, you will have a record of each wine you taste and where it fits into the region’s vineyards and wine styles.
