Wine OR Wine & Food
How to get a handle on the ever-expanding world of wines and wine regions? One way is to grasp the basic styles of wine. There may be 40,000 wine labels for us to choose from in the NY metropolitan area, but they can all be categorized in 7 or 8 basic wine styles.
There is a difference between Old World and New World wines. Taste for yourself – reds and whites from Italy, France, Spain, and Germany, versus reds and whites from the United States, Australia, New Zealand, and Chile. Find out which flavor and taste styles tend to typify the wines from the Old and New Worlds.
Join us in an enjoyable, interactive, and educational atmosphere, where class participants are encouraged to explore their own preferences and develop their own appreciation of wine.
