If you answered yes, then WSET Training is for you! The Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET) course is an outstanding overview of the wines and spirits of the world. This class covers major wine producing regions, wine grapes, factors affecting quality and style, grape growing, winemaking, wine service, storage, matching food & wine, and the WSET systematic approach to tasting wine. Each week you will taste samples of 8-10 wines. The course consists of 3-hour classes, once a week, for 5 weeks; with an exam on the 6th week.
Laurie Forster, The Wine Coach, is teaching this course in partnership with the Capital Wine School. The class fee includes: WSET course book, study guide, guide to the systematic approach to tasting wine, 5 class lectures, copies of the class lecture, practice quizzes, wine, final exam (1 hour – 50 multiple choice questions) and, upon passing, students receive a WSET Intermediate certificate.
No prior wine training or advanced knowledge is required. This is great for beginners as well as those who have a basic foundation in the wine world and want to move forward.
Registration Fee: $695, class size is limited to 20
