Local Wine Events

A special Gala fundraiser is planned for Tuesday, October 13 from 7:30-9:30 p.m. at The Fresh Market, 718 Commons Drive in the Geneva Commons.  Enjoy an evening tasting extraordinary wines and sampling prime rib, shrimp and other delightful hors d’oeuvres as well as distinctive chesses and up to a 15% discount on wine purchases.  Proceeds will be used to help benefit Geneva’s annual Swedish Days Parade.  Tickets are $25 and available at the Chamber of Commerce, 8 South Third St., or call 630-232-6060 for more information.  ot only will you support a good cause, but you won't have to cook either!  Stop by to sip some wonderful wines and perhaps discover some old or new friends.
