Afterparty on Thursday, October 1 from 10 p.m. to midnight at Twisted Spoke, 501 N. Ogden Ave. in Chicago, featuring the beers of McAuslan Brewing, Quebec's foremost micro-brewery, including $4 St-Ambroise Oatmeal Stout, and $5 bottles of St-Ambroise Pale Ale, St-Ambroise Apricot Wheat, and St-Ambroise Pumpkin Ale. Event follows the world premiere at 8 p.m. of "Cafe Society" for one night only at The Portage Theater, 4050 N. Milwaukee Ave. in Chicago. Shot on location in the U.S., U.K. and Europe over two years, it is the first documentary film to chronicle the origins of the cafe racer, a style of motorcycle directly responsible for today's superbikes.
