Welcome back from your summer vacation and into a new season of wine tasting events at Pane & Vino.
Our format has not changed, and neither has the price, which stays at $ 25 .
Below is a description of the wines that will be served.
Aldo`s Restaurant will provide dinner, serving cheese bread, tomato bread, pasta, chicken and salad.

Graham Beck Chardonnay -Viognier 2008 Franschhoek Estate, South Africa $13.99
Lemony, zesty tones from the Chardonnay, while the Viognier provides the aromas of dried peaches and apricots on the nose. An explosion of tropical flavors on the palate with a great freshness and a lingering finish.
Jean-Luc Colombo Cotes du Rhone Blanc 2007 Southern Rhone, France $ 14.99
This wine has floral aromas with notes of fresh fruits. It surprises for it is complexity, its freshness and lively structure. A blend of Viognier, Clairette, and Grenache Blanc, it possesses delicious peach, honeysuckle, and citrusy fruit, light to medium body, excellent purity and a clean, long dry finish.
Marchesi di Barolo Maraia Barbera Monferrato 2006 Piemonte, Italy $13.99
Ruby red in color, this Barbera is both fresh and intense. Infused with scents of wild berries and hints of vanilla, it`s medium to full bodied. On the palate it exhibits warm, robust flavor that are assertive and well-balanced.
Bartali Chianti Ducceto DOCG 2007 Toscana, Italy $14.99
100% Sangiovese, bottling takes place 6 months after harvesting allowing for a longer maturing on the lees, which lends this wine its characteristic roundness.
Deep ruby red, fruity with scents of red berries. Juicy, with an intense, round and harmonious taste.
Li Veli Passamante Salento Negroamaro 2007 Puglia, Italy $ 14.99
Composed entirely of Negroamaro, this red is aged for six months in oak casks and stainless steel, and then for an additional six months in bottle prior to release. Extremely aromatic, flavorful and fruit-forward, this red makes an excellent companion for vegetable stews, light pasta dishes, and young cheeses.
