The Marriott City Center and Elysium Fine Wines are happy to announce an evening with the wine-maker, Gary Luchtel from Surh-Luchtel, Napa Valley.

Appetizer:  Scallops with caramelized pears.

Salad:  Mache and watercress with aged Monterey Jack, pearl onion, candy strip beets, and pepitas with a white basalmic vinagrette.  Served with Surh-Luchtel Fortunati Vineyard Viognier.

Intermezzo:  Hibiscus flower granite with pickled horseradish.  Servered with Surh-Luchtel Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir.

Entree:  Veal shank with Anson Mills blue corn grits, and pea tendrils.  Served with Surh-Luchtel Napa Vally Cabernet Sauvignon.

Dessert:  Chocolate and huckleberry souffle.  Paired with Surh-Luchtel Napa Valley Zinfandel.

Seating is limited to 40.
