In support of the education and advancement of women in culinary fields, Women Chefs & Restaurateurs (WCR) will host At the Table Chicago, a multicourse brunch, complete with a selection of fine wines, at Washburne Culinary Institute’s sparkling new facilities to benefit WCR’s scholarship and internship programs.
WHO: At the Table Chicago will showcase the culinary talents of locally renowned women chefs and restaurateurs, including Kocoa Scott-Winbush, chef/owner of Kocoa’s Kitchen in Chicago and Washburne Culinary Institute’s 2009 Alum of the Year. Students will assist chefs in preparing delectable dishes.
WHEN: Sunday, October 4, 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. Hors d’oeuvres and wines followed by brunch.
WHERE: Washburne Culinary Institute at Kennedy King College, 740 West 63rd Street, Chicago
