How did Bordeaux become the worldwide benchmark for great wine? What is a "classified growth?" What is the Left and Right Bank? What is a Bordeaux blend?
De-mystify Bordeaux! Sunday December 13th and December 20nd, Sommelier Arnie Millan presents a series of 2 classes exploring Bordeaux its history, geography and, of course, its wines. We will taste at least 6 quality wines per class, including classified growths.
On the 20th, we will cover the history of Bordeaux and explore the wines of the Right Bank (Saint-Emilion, Pomerol etc. as well as Sauternes). Parking in the Warwick Seattle Hotel Garage is $2.50 with validation. WEBSITE: Arnie Millan:Wine Talk |
