Situated at the top of spectacular Grouse Mountain, 350 guests ride up to the Peak of Vancouver and enter the heart of the Alpine Lodge. Here, surrounded by breath taking views, The Adoptive Families Association of BC’s acclaimed "Wine on the Mountain" wine and food pairing fundraising party begins. This fabulous wine affair is not just for the most experience of palettes; whether you’re a connoisseur or not, you can tantalize your senses tasting wine from around the world.
The theme this year “Arouse Your Senses” will have you indulging smell, sight, touch, taste and sounds with the exquisite food/wine pairings throughout the evening with Vancouver’s top restaurants and award winning Grouse Mountain Chefs. Your wine adventure will be on sensory overload from blind tastings, taste challenges, curious jelly belly tastings to aphrodisiac pairings and sexy wines.
Back by popular demand is our coveted Chocolate Cellar. This decadent cellar is waiting for your tasting exploration including ports, ice wines and more. Highlights include live music, delicious hors d'oeuvres, fantastic auctions, Cornucopia Wine Whistler Trip Raffle, the prestigious Wine Cellar Depot live auction package “wall of wine”, with local celebrity VIP Wine Tasting Judges. Grouse Mountain's wine experts will be on hand all evening as you seek out your perfect wine and food pairing. As a special treat, all tickets include a chance to win a private tasting with Grouse Mountain’s Sommelier where you will learn to taste like a professional while exploring a range of wine styles.
