THIS EXAM IS FULL.  CONTACT THE SOCIETY OF WINE EDUCATORS TO BE PLACED ON A WAITING LIST.  THE NEXT EXAM AT UCLA EXTENSION IS 12/11/2010.  REGISTER EARLY - EXAM SEATS FILL UP APPROXIMATELY 4-6 WEEKS IN ADVANCE OF EXAM DATE.

Shelby Ledgerwood, CWE and senior wine instructor at UCLA Extension is working with the Society of Wines Educators to offer their Certified Specialist of Wine (CSW) Exam at UCLA Extension.

The Society of Wine Educators is a national, non-profit educational organization (501c3) whose mission is to advance wine education through professional development and certification.  The Society of Wine Educators validates wine knowledge, tasting acumen and teaching ability within its three-tier hierarchy of certification: Certified Specialist of Wine (CSW), Certified Wine Educator (CWE) and Certified Specialist of Spirits (CSS).

The CSW exam will be offered 2 times per year at UCLA Extension.  Enrollment is open to the public but limited to 18 seats per exam.  Please visit  www.societyofwineeducators.org  for more information about the exam and how to enroll.  Enrollment for the exam is conducted through the Society of Wine Educators only.
