A Seasonal Wine Dinner at SideBern’s
Even though the weather feels like summer, fall is in the air. To celebrate the new season, join Executive Chef Chad Johnson & his staff for an autumn wine dinner. The dinner will highlight the sumptuous flavors and textures of fall’s beautiful produce and products while Wine Director, Kevin Pelley, will pair this season’s best and brightest wines with each course.
The menu will include some traditional fall flavors including green apples, squash, cabbage and pears. While matsutake mushrooms, roasted monkfish, pheasant and elk strip loin round out the courses.
The Menu
Roasted Monkfish – salsify, green apple, lovage, powdered Dijon
Pheasant- savoy cabbage, foie gras, potato cream
Matsutake Mushroom – jamon iberico, maple, smoldering spices
Autumn Squash – pork cheek, porcini, blis elixer
Elk Striploin – aged gouda, smoked parsnip, brussel sprouts, horseradish
Pear Clafouti – almond, cranberry, sage
The dinner will be on Thursday, October 15, and is $125.00 per person, all inclusive and will begin at 6:30 p.m. Reservations may be made via the website at www.bernsfinewines.com .
