The Phoenix Club of Nashville invites members of the community to join them for the 2009 Taste of Nashville. Attendees may sample Nashville’s premier restaurants, while at the same time support the Boys and Girls Club of Middle Tennessee.

This year’s Taste of Nashville will be on Friday, September 25, 2009 at the Cannery Ballroom beginning at 7 p.m. Tickets are $50 per person in advance or may be purchased at the door for $60 per person. Among the participating restaurants are Chappy’s; PF Changs Bistro/West End; Bosco’s; Moe’s; Bricktops; The Palm; Finezza; Jim ‘N Nick’s; Blue Moon; The Standard; Rent A Rita; Zumi; Virago; Noshville; Kayne Prime; Lime; Whiskey Kitchen; GiGis Cupcakes; Mellow Mushroom; Jimmy Carl’s Lunchbox; The Local Taco; Park Café; Eastland Café; The Cocoa Tree; Saffire; Giovanni; and Hutton Hotel - 1808 Grille.

The Phoenix Club of Nashville, which started locally in 2000 in the same vision as the Phoenix Club of Memphis, is a non-profit organization that solely raises funds to support the Boys & Girls Clubs of Middle Tennessee. Signature fundraisers hosted by the Phoenix Club include the Taste of Nashville, the Equinox Ball, and holiday card sales, all of which are some of Nashville’s most prominent events. All proceeds generated are donated to BGCMT and directly impact the boys and girls participating in the Club programs.

“The Phoenix Club of Nashville is committed to assisting the Boys & Girls Club of Middle Tennessee with financial resources as well as through volunteering at the Clubs,” said Mike Stapp, president of the Phoenix Club of Nashville. “In these difficult economic times, we realize that the Boys & Girls Clubs need our help. We hope that you can join us for this fantastic event – to enjoy food from the some of the best restaurants in town and support our local Boys and Girls club at the same time.”
