Oro Pomodoro is located in the beautiful Rockville Town Center. The restaurant is the dream of Savino Recine and Biagio Cepollaro. Savino is one of the most innovative Italian restauranteurs in the DC metro area, known for Pimi Piatti, Provence, Coco Loco, and Finemondo. Biagio is a renowned cheese maker from Naples, Italy. Savino and Biagio became very good friends with Gaetano Esposito who is the most knowledgeable pizza maker in the world right now. Gaetano also personally trained his nephew, Enzo Esposito who is their pizza maker. He makes his pizza so light and flavorful that his Uncle nicknamed him "the Boy with the Golden Hands", hence the name of the restaurant, Oro Pomodoro. Together with Italian Executive Chef David Rezzani, they bring their vision of offering you the most delicious Neapolitan pizza and Italian cuisine to Rockville, MD!
