Wine OR Wine & Food

     Each evening we explore the wines of the USA’s  most important wine regions – including California’s North Coast (Napa and Sonoma Valleys) and Central Coast (Monterey, Santa Clara, Paso Robles and Santa Ynez), Oregon’s Willamette Valley, Washington State’s Columbia, Yakima and Red Mountain viticultural areas, and our own New York Finger Lakes, Hudson Valley and Long Island wine regions. 

     In a fun, interactive, and educational environment, we taste eight wines each evening and every student receives a notebook of excellent regional maps and information sheets. The course provides a full understanding of a region’s wines, its history and “terroir,” its classic food and wine pairings, the standards according to which its wines are normally assessed, and where it stands among the other great wine regions of the world.
