Beltramo's is very pleased to welcome Francesco Mazzei to lead us through a tasting of four vintages of Castello di Fonterutoli's "Siepi". Signore Mazzei is the 24th generation of his family to make wine at the Tuscan estate and is on tour to pour the widely heralded 2006 vintage. The stellar quality of the 2006 is best appreciated when compared to other excellent vintages of course, so we'll enjoy the 2003, 2004 and 2005 as well. Francesco will also be using the 2006 to highlight the stunning new cellar that operates via gravity and clean energy, and has already been defined as "the most impressive in the entire Chianti region" by Steven Spurrier of Decanter magazine. Save the date and join us for this special opportunity to taste Siepi and meet its maker.
